Founded by Angelo Guglielmi, Knight of the Republic, expert in Precious Metals for the Court of Genoa and Vice President of Craftsmanship for the province, in 1946, Gioielleria Guglielmi was established in Genoa. It quickly became known for its stunning handcrafted jewellery and exclusive goldsmith creations with unique designs.

In the 1960s, the business became a prestigious production and retail centre, as well as a point of reference for jewellers across Italy, seeking handcrafted gold jewellery featuring diamonds, pearls, and precious stones.

Experience

Since 1946, Grandpa Angelo, Knight of the Republic, Expert in Precious Metals for the Court of Genoa and Vice President of Craftsmanship for the Province of Genoa, loved his work, which he always carried out with passion and precision. The school of Grandpa was not easy, and Mum Bruna, now the owner of the business, knows all about it. With a smile, she recalls her father's expectations and the challenges of being a woman in charge of goldsmith artisans at a time when a working woman, especially one with responsibilities, was far from the norm.

But as the saying goes, "...the training is tough..." according to Bruna Guglielmi, "...it's what is needed," although she confesses to herself and demonstrates every day to her daughters and collaborators, Laura and Elisa, that it is love that began to nurture what we are today: Gioielleria Bruna Guglielmi.
Mum Bruna, skilled in sourcing raw materials, demanding with herself and her daughters, precise in design, a friend to the artisan workers and at the same time attentive to the customer, has succeeded in continuing and updating the family passion, transforming it into the engaging business it is today.

Family goldsmithing passion

The family business is now in the hands of Bruna Guglielmi, daughter of the founder Angelo, who passed on his passion for this work to her.

We are hidden, but we do not hide! Our tradition and the great experience of Mum Bruna teach us every day to seek new ideas in the design of "bespoke" jewellery, which is very difficult and rare in today’s standardised world; in the search for "new" materials, or rather, materials that are little known and seldom used; in the selection of unique items, with a pleasant presentation but also at an affordable price, to satisfy an increasingly attentive and demanding clientele, which also includes businesses with their corporate gifts.
